"Great location in the Village walking distance to shops, restaurants, and theaters. the owners treated us like family. John and Margo were a great source of information as we learned about Niagara On the Lake. Breakfast was excellent. Appletree is a great choice if you like the quiet and comfort of a bed and breakfast.!"

"Host were superb! Breakfasts exquisite!! We had wonderful conversations with John and Margo and the other guests. One morning, we were all having such a great discussion that it was almost noon before anyone left the table! The room was beautifully decorated, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. The location was ideal -- we could easily walk to everything we wanted to see and do in Niagara-on-the-Lake. Recommend without hesitation!!"

Amazing Stay at the Apple Tree
"My fiance and I stayed in the Granny Smith room a few weeks ago. We loved the decor, the room was comfortable and spacious with an attached private bathroom. Our hosts John and Margo were so friendly and entertaining! We stayed up late chatting by the fire and loved hearing about the history of the house and NOTL. Margo made a delicious breakfast in the morning which we thoroughly enjoyed! The bnb is very well situated with a short (5 min) walk to the main street/shops/restaurants. There is also ample parking spots on the property. We had a great time and will definitely visit again soon!"

Nice place to explore Niagara on the Lake from!
"If you're looking for a comfortable, fun and central location in NOTL this definitely is a good choice. The BB itself is decorated to suit the age of the historic building (1820). It's in a beautiful tree lined old neighbourhood within walking distance to the downtown core shopping district & theatres.
John & Margo are a great couple and we loved getting to know them. Both do a fantastic job running the place and are friendly, kind, personable hosts. Margo is a fantastic creative cook. Both breakfasts were real eyeopeners and were delicious.
They both made excellent recommendations to us regarding bicycle wine tours and dinner in the town. We took them up on both and were not disappointed!
The real high-lite for us was the breakfast conversations with the other guests and hosts. It was an unexpected delight for us!

Wonderful Stay
"Our first thought on a long weekend getaway was to stay in a hotel @ Niagara Falls in a room with a falls view but later on we decided to stay in a quieter area and picked Apple Tree Historic Bed & Breakfast @ Niagara on the Lake. Have not regretted this decision for a second. We discovered that Niagara-on-the -Lake is a very charming little town with lots of good restaurants, theaters and boutique shops just a few minutes walk from our quaint B&B.
Staying in Apple Tree Historic Bed and Breakfast was an experience on its own. John and Margo were new owners of the place but they did everything possible to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable and were asking for the input on how to make the place even better. Breakfast menu varied every morning and always was excellent. Hosts were asking for a permission to join their guest at the end of the breakfast and were giving tips on sites and area. Loved gathering around the fireplace and sharing ghosts stories in the evening))) I really felt like visiting with old friends.
